As a surgeon, Dr. Quinn specializes in facial plastic and reconstructive procedures. Thus, in addition to injectable and skin care treatments, Dr. Quinn ENT offers minor in-office cosmetic procedures. One common surgery is a blepheroplasty, a procedure that decreases the “droop” of the eyelids. Minor surgery can also be performed in the office to treat skin lesions and warts. Most situations take less than 30 minutes and one treatment. Treatment takes only a few days and the effect will be permanent.

SkinMedica Chemical Peels

Dr. Quinn ENT offers several types of chemical peels by SkinMedica. These in-office face treatments are specially medicated to revitalize and rejuvenate the skin of the face. These peels are very effective at reducing skin damage from sunburn, flaking and acne. They also have the effect of reducing excess skin and restoring a youthful appearance. SkinMedica’s Vitalize® and Illuminize® peels are suitable for all skin types, and will cause a noticeable improvement whether applied once or repeatedly.

BOTOX Cosmetic®

BOTOX Cosmetic®, by Allergan, has been used therapeutically for over 16 years to treat a variety of medical conditions.  Botox injected into facial muscles binds to the nerve endings and prevents nerve impulses from traveling to the muscle.  The paralyzing effect temporarily reduces or eliminates previous skin creasing and new skin creasing is avoided. Botox can be used to reduce frown lines, crow’s feet and wrinkling of the brow.

Restylane®

Restylane® is a safe and natural cosmetic dermal filler that restores volume and fullness to skin to help correct moderate to severe wrinkles and folds, such as the lines from your nose to the corners of your mouth (nasolabial folds).  Restylane can also be used on the forehead, cheeks or lips.  Restylane is natural filler and will be reabsorbed into the surrounding areas over time.

The procedure takes less than 15 minutes.  If there is minor local irritation or redness, it will recede within a few hours. Restylane takes effect within a day and will typically last 6-9 months.

Radiesse®

Radiesse® is the newest addition to our cosmetic lineup.  A filler like Botox and Restylane, Radiesse is used to treat deep lines and wrinkles around the nose and mouth.  Radiesse begins by simply diminishing lines, but as your treatment progresses, the formula will begin promoting natural collagen growth in the skin, increasing the effect of the treatment.  This natural growth also extends the results – Radiesse treatment will last for up to two years.

Like Botox and Restylane treatments, Radiesse is quick and easy.  Just a few minutes in our office, and your facial wrinkles will be a thing of the past.

Minor Cosmetic Surgery

Dr. Quinn specializes in facial plastic surgery, including major reconstructions from facial injuries, and his expertise is transferable to cosmetic procedures. Minor cosmetic surgery can be completed easily, quickly and safely in our office.

Blepharoplasty is a surgical procedure that removes some of the “extra” skin of the upper or lower eyelid to reduce the appearance of aging this droop can cause.  It can also remove the puffiness and bags under the eyes that make you look worn and tired. It can also be performed to uncover the pupil to correct vision disruption from the excess skin.
